Salary negotiations

Different industries can choose to take slightly different approaches to salary negotiations.

Some will accept aggressive approaches and others will not.

I am not your person for aggressive salary negotiation! This would be in a very sales style and I recommend finding an industry mentor who has been in the role you want, to ask for their industry specific tips.

I advise on salary negotiation conversations for industries that don't have intensely competitive work environments and industries that are heavily regulated.

My approach

I provide suggested steps on how and when to approach the salary negotiation and the resources you should be looking at to help you prepare.

It is important to prepare for this conversation before it takes place so you can be ready to respond to a variety of outcomes.

We can also discuss the other elements of the job that you may be able to negotiate on, not just salary!
